Community Development Efforts
We have partnered with Mission Year to provide two interns that will be responsible for coordinating volunteers, managing projects, coordinating available social services and serving CURE and the pastors administratively. The redevelopment process will be years in the making. We are committed to the Desire neighborhood and will continue the rebuilding efforts this fall as we host and serve alongside skilled workers who will continue construction work in the neighborhood.
Volunteer Opportunities
We encourage you to assemble a team to come and help CURE rebuild the city. Starting in October, we are looking for groups of adults that are able to bring some skilled workers with them to help with the rebuilding process.
